Check out Janelle Monáe’s Tightrope (Wondamix) video featuring B.o.B and Lupe Fiasco. I am glad she had a chance to show and prove to the world who she was last week at the BET Award’s ’10. I feel she had finally secured her much deserved spot in the music business. I look forward to more from her outside of music, maybe fashion and movies. Heart of the City is an organization that seeks to reinvigorate the lifeline of a city, its people, by offering new and inspiring forms of entertainment and community events. Each of our events are individually designed to appeal to a specific demographic for a specific time or occasion, however, all of them are broadly focused on empowering the members of a community to recognize the greatness in one another. Ideally, almost literally, we hope to ensure the longevity of a city by maintaining the well-being of its heart.
